     Ninety-year-old bass giant, Milt Hinton, died today, December 20.  Mr. Hinton is a remarkable mentor for bassists everywhere.  He showed us all that it's possible to play bass into our 90s.  He was also a terrific photographer.

     Everyone who knew him will surely miss The Judge, but no bass player should miss what he did for bass.
